Trevor Rabie, MD | FCCP is a Healthtech Advisor for Tycoon Venture Partners.
After graduating with Distinction from the University of Cape Town Medical School in South Africa, Dr. Rabie did his residency in Internal Medicine in Washington DC and then did his Pulmonary and Critical Care training at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Pulmonary Medicine and was Board Certified in Critical Care Medicine from 1987 to 2007 and in Palliative and Hospice Medicine from 2010 to 2020.
Dr. Rabie started his Pulmonary/Critical Care Practice in Houston, Texas in 1984. In 1999, he was one of the founding members of Intercede Health, which provided Hospitalist services. In addition, he ran an outpatient clinic exclusively for medically complex patients.
He then transitioned to Hospital Case Management with a large hospital system in Houston. In 2014, he was recruited to be the Chief Medical Officer for Universal American, a health insurance company, which was subsequently acquired by WellCare and then Centene.
